Presentation at the DISP’19 Oxford conference
We attended an international conference on April 29 and 30 Renewable Energy and Smart Grid Forum RES’19, organized by St Hugh’s College, University of Oxford. Here we presented a paper entitled “All-Sky Imaging: A Way to Increase Solar Irradiance Forecasting Resolution and Accuracy”.
The Sky-Imager developed by us and the results of the analysis of the accuracy of the forecast, which it provides in the short term, were presented. Other results of the success of exposure prediction were also presented, but emphasis was placed on advanced image processing of sky images, which are further used to predict sky cover and determine the production of photovoltaic systems over time.
